This doll was released in 1998 to commemorate the first anniversary of the British return of Hong Kong to China. This was the first Barbie doll to be dressed by an Asian designer in a specially designed traditional Chinese costume. The set comes with a dress, shoes, jewelry, a doll stand, and a certificate of authenticity.
The figure is not removed from the internal packing and the box is very good with few flaws. The wax envelope containing the certificate has a bit of wear. Everything else in the box is undisturbed, except for the missing reply card (if there ever was one).
